Farewell

Tuesday morning my Grandpa Kabriel passed away. He was 90 years old, still living at home. He and Grandma had just gone to coffee at the cafe in town -- on opening day, April Fools Day -- very appropriate if you knew my grandpa when he collapsed when he came home.

He was a hard-working man and a good father to his five daughters.

A good husband and grandfather, a man well-known and loved in his little community.

I have many memories of good times at your house, mushroom hunting, berry-picking, or road tripping around the area, trips to Canada, many a game of pinochle, and lots and lots of laughter. Grandpa, we're sure going to miss you!
