Sunday night, Adam & Kabe decided to join Scott & boys and go 'camping' (aka...sleep in the tent in Scott & Emmy's back yard with Scott & the boys) so Sunday afternoon we spent some time rounding up a tent, Kabe & Adam used the one on the left.
Like true campers, they even had a fire, roasted wieners, and of course,
no campout is complete without smores!
Of course, Kabe loved that part!
Those darn marshmallow's are kinda messy though!
This is Scott, the master camper. A big shout-out goes to him for including my guys in this big adventure. Kabe had a blast and Adam, although totally capable, is not a camping-type guy. It's not that he's afraid of it, it's just not something he enjoys. Adam did this because he knew Kabe would enjoy it. What made this enjoyable for Adam was that he got to hang out with his buddy, Scott. Thanks Scott, for making this an enjoyable guy-time for Adam. I owe you one!
Once all the eating was done, everyone just chilled out by the campfire, before the kids curled up in their sleeping bags to play their Leapsters. Okay, so this was not totally technology-free camping. =)
Camping mission accomplished. Good Job Dads!
Where was I during all this? Chillin' at home in a very peaceful house!
